As we wrap up Season 1, Andy talks with the production team for The Redemptive Edge.
In this episode, we compare what each of us loved about this season’s interviews; why “hero” is the wrong word for our guests; the role of family in professional success; how Praxis helps founders come up with ideas; the answer to “how many vocations should we have?”; and who gets to ask the questions in this show.
We also preview our next podcast, Venture, coming out later in 2019.
About The GuestS
Mary Elizabeth Goodell is energized by connecting people to the resources they need to flourish. At Wheaton College, she earned a BA in Business and Economics in between volunteering with non-profits, and researching ways to give victims of human trafficking access to business skills. After winning a pitch competition with a social enterprise idea to support sexually exploited women, she was introduced to Praxis, and caught a vision for redemptive entrepreneurship. Upon graduation, she moved to Chicago to serve as the Director of Donor Relations for Hope Works Community Development. In the City of Broad Shoulders, she volunteered with New Name Ministries leading outreach to trafficked women in massage parlors. Now living in Queens, she joyfully connects entrepreneurs within the Praxis network as the Community Manager.

Scott lives with his family in Manhattan.
